The crown will wind movement. On the side of movement 6 o'clock there is what looks to be a lever. Without the case in hand I canny not determine weather it will also set. Came from a 14k gold case-dial and hands in very good condition.

If it is a lever set missing the pull tab or on original case there may have been switch. You are buying on an estate find of a 1898 Elgin pocket watch movement complete with crown assembly. The movement is keeping good time, 15 jewels and clean. You be the judge.

The other possibility is that case controlled crown for setting. Has sub Dial for seconds.
