The outer case is gold stamped with a hallmark and word plaque. The stem is silver or steel. I'll post an update after I get back. And will revise that either up or down depending on what I find out tomorrow.

The face is round with a silver satin finish and gold hands accents where numbers on watch should be except for there ships wheel in place of number 12. Below that is the name michel Herbelin. The second hand is black.

For now, I will start the buying at below that is eta Swiss mot, made in france, sapphire glass and a little fish 50m. I don't know if this is a knockoff because bought it at an estate sale. The bracelet link has a double sided deployment clasp it opens and closes securely is mostly silver engraved - steel 316l michel Herbelin paris on each side of with touch gold inside where joins watch there are screw-type ends both sides. What I can tell you is that when brought it to the jeweler replace battery and see if worked with a new one, woman told me in her opinion looks genuine because inside has jewels.

The crystal is also in very nice shape and I have looked it over can't find any scratches while looking through a magnifying glass. The back of case is again engraved michel Herbelin - paris with a sailboat some sort below that. Something else, I am just taking an educated guess that this is gold plated.

The date is displayed in a round window where 6 would be and below that word france black. My right wrist is just under and this watch too tight for me. As you can see from the picture, it is just under 6 with clasp closed. This watch is in terrific pre-owned condition with minor scratches.
